Wesley can best be described as a sympathetic, broadly oriented guitarist. Through his years of experience, including at the conservatory, he has gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration to develop his own teaching method. He writes music with various musicians/producers and plays with various projects on various stages and festivals in the Netherlands.
In 2018, Wesley obtained his diploma at the conservatory in Haarlem. He is currently busy with his new "Cumbia on Steroids" project: Fruta Marrón.
'In my lessons, I think it is important that students learn what they want to learn themselves. By choosing music together with the students, the lessons remain interesting and playful. Having fun in my lessons is central and within this framework I ensure that every student (regardless of level or age) can learn all aspects of this great instrument at his/her own pace. There is so much to learn about playing the guitar, such as: repertoire, technique, chord theory, improvisation, theory and reading notes. But you are also more than welcome to come to me to 'just' make music for fun.'
